Have you ever noticed that on special days, Valentine's Day or your birthday for example, you may have an unexpected visitor. You may receive a phone call or a message from someone you once knew from the past. It may be an ex or and old flame or fling. The problem is that you are in a relationship at the time and, out of the blue, here come those damn bones and skeletons falling out of your closet wanting to say hello, wanting to have dinner or just wanting to throw a monkey wrench in your situation!!! Now it may be fate, but if you're happy with your current relations, hang up the pone, delete the message and tell that jive turkey to jump his Handy Manny ass back in that tool box, because we ain't having it ladies!!!!

Don't ever let anyone tell you that it is wrong or strange to purchase gifts for yourself on a special holiday or occasion, especially if you don't have anyone to do so for you. Lavish yourself in luxury. Buy flowers, champagne, strawberries & candies. Indulge in a day of spa in the comfort of your own bathroom with body scrubs and bath salts. Do your hair and nails and paint the town red or spend a quiet evening at home with dinner and a movie. Relax and stop worrying about finding another to love when you haven't loved yourself first.

Hating on a holiday just because you did not receive anything or you did not have anyone to share it with is not very ladylike. That goes for Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas & even your own special birthday. You'll hear women say things like::: "This day is so overrated!"...when they should have said: "When I go to the store, I'm forced to look at all of the balloons, flowers, candy, decorations and gifts that no one is going to buy for me!"  "You should show your love and give gifts everyday, not just on this one day, if you are REALLY in love with a person!"...when they should have said: "I'm angry because I don't have anyone, so I'm clearly hating on the women who DID get gifts on this one particular day." "I mean, what's the big deal? It's just another day!!!"...when they should have said: "It's just another day that I'm spending by myself!" This is

You had something that was apparently so precious and important to you. It was a one of a kind that only comes by once in a lifetime, so it was your duty to hold on to it, love it and cherish it forever. But you got rid of it, for reasons unbeknownst to you, just to end up replacing it with a look-a-like, bootleg, knock-version of the original you already had??? Purses have knock-off versions, perfumes have "just like" smells, but not people. Never try to replace the original one-of-a-kind person you love so much with a knock-off because their glue and seams are never placed together with time and care: they fall apart eventually.

People believe what the eyes see and what the ears are told, leaving the brain to fend for itself, so to speak. Many of us have brains that will enable us to make the eyes look closer and the ears listen harder.You will then find that the surface is not all that it seems, people and their lives, are not what they appear to be. They just give a false outlook making the coating on the candy seem so much sweeter. Suck off the top layer: you'll find that what lies beneath was all lies.
