MM: {MeSha Moments}: #54~ The Washed Up Rapper


I believe that many of us get caught up in the "HYPE" about weight, fashion, style....but most of all AGE. Many of us do this that are considered LATE for our time, or maybe YOU'RE TOO OLD to be doing etc...... But know this: 

 There is not an age CUTOFF for MUZIIQ! If you are GREAT, please continue to do so. There are artists older than Shaka Khan, but have unlimited talent in muziiq and... well... BARZ!!! Keep doing what you do though and know that you are saluted and appreciated for keeping HipHop, REAL HipHop alive and kicking....

 .........but then you have THE WASHED UP RAPPER, they are not artists and can be in their 20's, but just DAMN WHACK AS HELL!!! They may have once been great or maybe just had that ONE HIT that we all remember as being so catchy lol, but in current times can't write a hit to save their life. And so they keep grinding out BAD MUZIIQ until eventually, they fade into the land of BUM AZZ RAPPERS, you know that dark place where Simba's daddy, MUFASA, told him to never go??? You will even catch their jealousy of up and coming YOUNGER ARTISTS because they know that their time has grown short. So in the words of Busta Rhymes, "WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOUR CAREER IS BURIED?" Shut tf up and get in the box! Everyone is talking bad about you in the city streets!

There is a road you will have to take alone. This walk is for your sanity and no one else's. As much as you want company on this journey, no one seems to fit the bill so far. Over the years, you have given your love and time to potential suitors. While the beginning seems so unimaginable and surreal for you to be blessed with this bliss,  the end result remains the same. The love does not feel the same or there is a selfish person draining you of energy, sure that you will be waiting on the shelf collecting dust. As with all silver comes the tarnish and either it is cleaned and renewed or sold to the next customer to make new again. But there is just that process of leaving your past buyer. Did he or she appreciate you once? And if so, why not now? Why allow you to have a feeling of being worthless in their lives? Now comes your walk. It is the time you spend mending yourself.
