Your dependency on words is a downfall. Someone tells you they will and they don't. Someone says they can help and they can't. You trusted them and those words and look where it got you? You depended on these words that were told to you rather than depending on an ACTION! Words are NOTHING without that action that should follow. Now with those words that you so greatly depended on came a disappointment because you had your own plan of action to fulfill. You can talk until you're blue in the face about your goals and visions but no one seems to be listening...
What you've learned is that no one gives a damn about YOUR GOALS and DREAMS because they are usually dead set on their own or they just don't have any! As a business owner, a brand, an artist and organization, you can't follow someone else because you have your own path. Followers end up on DEAD END STREETS. You didn't mean to become a follower, but assisting in someone else's dream while placing yours on the back burner is FOLLOWING! Have you ever followed someone when an entire crowd takes off running in a panic? If so, BAD MOVE. Did it ever occur to you that they already knew where they were going while you were just winging it? Following someone to an unknown destination (because the destination is theirs and not yours) leads to a dead end but the person you were following isn't there.... they're not there because there is also a door, a door not accessible to you. Remember, this was not your path.
Learn to not be so dependent upon others, make your plan and LEAD your own path, not FOLLOW someone else's!
